Energizing Breakfasts for a Flat Belly

All the sit ups in the world will not give you a flat belly, or a stronger midsection. In order to have a lean and energized body, you have to eat for one. That means not skipping meals (that lead to binging and bad choices later) but eating with mindfulness. I choose energizing breakfasts fora flat belly every morning.

Breakfast is a key component in your energy path of the day.

Do you want a sharp mind AND a slim belly?

Do you want the energy you had when you were young? Then let it start 1st thing every morning.

I pretty much eat one of the 3 choices below, nearly every day. Simple. Nutrient dense. Energizing Breakfasts. Delicious, AND keep me full for around 4 hours until I eat a snack later.

Breakfast Smoothie.

Add to a blender, 1 Cup of either almond, coconut, or flax milk.

1/2 Cup purified water.

1 1/2 scoops either Plant or Whey based protein powder.

1 TBS flax seeds

1/4 cup frozen berries.

(you can substitute the protein powder for Plain organic Kefir)

Blend.

This will keep you full, as the high protein content and the moderate amount of fat and carbs give you staying power AND energy.

Eggs/Bacon/Toast

2 Eggs cooked in Grass Fed Kerrygold butter

1 slice Ezekiel toast plain

2 slices nitrate free Bacon.

This is a more rare breakfast as I usually don’t eat breads. Ezekiel bread is a living sprouted grain bread with multi-benefits. Great staying power and a good source of carbs.
Although this takes a bit more time, it’s a good “weekend” breakfast.

Oatmeal

1/2 cup steel cut oats cooked per instructions.

Add 1/2 cup almond milk after cooking, top with

1 tsp. raw organic coconut oil

1 tsp. flax seeds

dash of cinnamon

The oats can be made the night before and all of the ingredients can be added before popping into the microwave for 30 seconds. This is a filling but powerful breakfast for those super busy days, or big workout days at the gym.
