3 Worst Exercises for Losing Weight , and the Best Exercises that KEEP the Weight Off!

If you are trying to exercise to lose weight, you might be actually doing the worst exercises and even gaining more!

Whenever I talk to someone about losing weight, they usually tell me that they are doing these 3 exercises, and not doing the ones that will have them not only losing weight, but keeping it off with a body that looks younger than they did 10 years ago!

1. Excessive Cardio.

Too much cardio not only harms hormonal balance, adrenals and energy levels…it simply burns through muscle tissue….the ONLY tissue that you need to keep the weight off. Use full body movement patterns to build muscle.

2. Sit ups.

Yep, again today someone told me that since they have gained more weight in their belly, they are doing “extra” sit ups every day.
Unfortunately, you might end up with a strained neck, and a slightly sore back…Do planks instead.

3. Sitting on machines.

Sitting on a machine in a gym is a waste of time, unless you are a professional body builder or are rehabilitating an injury. If you are neither of those, then you should be doing either standing, or planking moves that engage the entire core, and all of the muscles from the front of the body to the back, and from the upper to the lower. Movement patterns are what matter. For the biggest caloric burn, you need to know what order to workout in as well.
