Can you drink alcohol and still be healthy?

Posted: December 29, 2022

You may think it’s odd for a nutrition and exercise buff to talk about drinking. Well, the truth is that people put me on some pedestal by asking me regularly…Can you drink alcohol and still be healthy?

And, then they usually say, “you don’t ever drink do you?”

Many of them also ask if they can have a glass of wine, and still lose weight. And, that if they quit drinking they could:

Lose weight, and most likely have the energy to exercise, and probably not have a bloated belly.

The truth is that your liver does play a huge part in how much fat you store, your energy levels, and how big your belly is.

However, it isn’t just a new diet that you need or a new exercise program….or to even completely stop drinking.

Now, if you drink excessively, that is definitely another story, and I urge you to think of your lifelong health.

But, if you are like me and love a glass of wine or two during the week with a meal, or love to go out for cocktails with girlfriends, then your liver DOES need help, and I have exactly what it needs.

But first, before I tell you about my great friend Georgia that lives in Australia (with her partner and TRIPLET YOUNG BOYS.)

Georgia is the person that I asked, “Can you drink alcohol and still be healthy?”

She is a hypnotherapist that specializes in drinking LESS, and is behind this amazing liver detoxifier.

As if triplets and a full-time career aren’t a reason to need a glass of wine!

Let me tell you that for over a decade I have taken all of these supplements separately, and spent WAY too much money.

But after her single serving supplement, that is geared towards detoxification, I can attest to never having a hangover.

And, the best part is that I have excellent liver enzymes and blood work.

This is to keep me energized, lean, and detoxified while being a bit of a “party girl” when I want to!!

I know the holidays are a time to overindulge. So know the difference between needing help with your overall lifestyle, or when you’re needing a little helper, for the days that you’ve gone overboard.;)

Drink responsibly, and never drink and drive. It’s ok to have cocktails with friends, but be sure to keep your health and fitness goals in mind!
