Dieting……for Disease Prevention, Longevity, and Obesity Prevention

The word DIET……What does it mean to you? I know that for most women, it means starvation, and sacrifice. To me, that is really a shame. The word DIET to me, means nothing other than what I eat on a daily basis to remain energized, fit, and strong. My diet is something that I look forward to, not something I dread, or mindlessly choose. I actually loathe the word “DIET” when it is used for restricting calories, or cutting out foods you love,( unless of course for an extremely limited time, as in a competition, to attain a certain weight as in wrestling, MMA, or bodybuilding). For those times only should you be “on a diet”. As for the rest of your life, you should be eating to prevent disease, maintain a lean but healthy bodyweight, and keep your energy levels high.

There is just as much information out there that can give you a simple, no B.S. guide to eating the right way for life, as there is fast food restaurants, and commercials beckoning “supersize me”! Which one do you choose to follow? I hear every excuse from “I don’t know what is healthy, and what isn’t”, to “I don’t have time to eat healthy”! Do you have time to grocery shop? Then you have time to make smart choices! Do you have time to eat a quick meal, while watching your favorite show? Then you have even more time to read a book about clean eating, and do a workout video! It really is all about choices. I see people every day that have chosen to be overweight, and chosen to be lethargic! You are making choices now, that will affect your future. It will also affect your children’s. Whether you are feeding them, or you are not taking care of yourself, they will most likely be the ones suffering from your poor health choices in their future!

U.S. News, recently did a special report on the top diets, best, and worst. The panel of judges consisted of nutritionists, cancer specialists, cardiologists, physiologists, endocrinologists, and the like. It doesn’t even matter which diets were in the top categories, meaning the “name” of the diet. What mattered, was they all had a few components that gave them their top ratings.

Preventative  (warded off diseases)
Effective   (created energy, and fat loss)
Ease   (anyone can follow)

The main things that the top “diets” were consistent with are listed below.  VERY SIMPLE, ANYONE CAN FOLLOW, AND MAINTAIN……

Lean Proteins   (seafood, poultry, beans, lean meats)
Vegetables
Fruits       (both loaded with fiber and nutrients)
Low fat Dairy products
Healthy Fats      Olive Oil, Fish Oils
Grains, Nuts, Seeds   (loaded with fiber, and healthy fats)

The worst diets were loaded with saturated fats, low in fruits, low in grains, low in dairy.
The other thing that was mentioned was low salt. Our diets are so full of salt, it’s no wonder we are bloated, hold water, and have blood pressure problems.

By following a plan that contains all of the above mentioned foods, you will set up your body, your hormones, and your future for great health, energy, and fat loss.

I have done the legwork for you. Tosca Reno’s books are my bibles! Purchase  THE EAT CLEAN DIET:FAT LOSS THAT LASTS FOREVER books, and start your next day with great, healthy, simple foods that you will love!

IT IS NOT A SACRIFICE TO BE IN CHARGE OF YOUR HEALTH, AND YOUR FUTURE!!

IT FEELS GOOD, AND SO WILL YOU WHEN YOU MAKE HEALTHY CHOICES!!!!!!!
