Ease Back Pain Naturally

Did you know that most people that call in to work over 40, call in due to back pain? That didn’t surprise me. What does surprise me over and over again is how weak people are as they age. From sitting continuously, to poor posture. Most people with back pain use the wrong methods to get rid of this nagging ache. Here are a few tips on how to ease back pain naturally.

  1. Learn the correct way to lift something.
    Most people “throw” out their backs by using poor technique when lifting an object. Keep the object close to your body. Lower the body by hinging the hips and buttocks back….do not bend at the waist as this will put more pressure on the lower back.
  2. Eat a diet loaded with anti-inflammatory foods.’

3. Ā Strengthen your core.

4. Last but not least. If you spend a lot of time sitting, practice mindful posture.

With the shortening of your hip flexors, comes a weaker back and stomach.
