Navigating the world of hormones and thyroid disorders can be scary. From looking on the internet to asking your doctor about tests…Hypothyroid Questions for Beginners is what I will cover today.
I was diagnosed after years of thinking that something just wasn’t right with my body.
Although my blood tests and numbers were “within normal ranges” (UGH I hate that statement) I had many of the top symptoms associated with hypothyroidism.
Women are more likely than men to be diagnosed with this thyroid disorder. That could be for several reasons.
One is that we go to the doctors more often. Two being we are more in-tuned with our bodies…and three, our hormones are something we are aware of from a very young age.
If you are female and really are in tune with your body…luckily for you, you’ll most likely be a better patient. A good patient is one that comes to an appointment, ready to learn how to be part of their own care.
Sure the doctor has years of experience. But stand strong and be adamant that only YOU know when your body just isn’t right. Hypothyroid questions will be answered when you take in my blueprint and know how and what to ask for.
Some of the most common symptoms of hypothyroidism are:
*fatigue even with a good nights sleep
*hair loss or dry and lifeless hair
*weight gain despite eating healthy and exercising
*chronic stomach or digestive issues
*brain fog
*intolerance to cold…
and the list goes on.
If you suspect you have a thyroid disorder and have been told your blood work is normal? Find a DO, or medical health care practitioner that listens to you. Your symptoms mean much more than a blood test and you do deserve to feel great, no matter what your age or past health history shows.
After years of trying to figure out what was happening with my hormones and my body, I found help. But not until I knew what to ask, how to ask for it…and what test results meant when I got them.
I created a THYROID BLUEPRINT for those that suspect or have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and other thyroid issues, and have hypothyroid questions or issues that need resolving.
You want to feel, and look good…and you deserve to!
