There are a lot of buzzwords out there these days that have to do with finding the right diet. From Paleo to Atkins, Low Carb and now the Ketogenic Diet. How are we supposed to know what works?!
I personally have stated for years, “I do not follow a diet with a name.” But, every once in a while, I DO find myself trying to stick to something that will make positive changes in my body. Since I want to be as lean and energized as possible, I know that certain carbs are NOT going to support my goals. So, is Keto the answer?
I know that sugar, alcohol, rice, and potatoes are no-nos. But is it really realistic to think that someone will stay away from those for good?
I am a realist. I like to eat healthy, but I also like to vacation, eat out at restaurants, and have a good time. Which is exactly why this particular video HAD me. Was the Ketogenic Diet possible for a short period of time? What if I followed it partially? What if I kept at it for a long time…what would happen if I ate some carbs? Would I gain the weight back right away? And…is this diet going to be found to be NOT healthy in a few years?!
These are questions that I have asked, as a fitness professional that has a background in nutrition. And they are the questions that many of my coaching clients have as well.
What if there was a way to get super lean, ward off aging, keep your blood sugar balanced AND live a normal lifestyle? Is that even possible?
I urge you to check out this video from the leading bestselling author Brad Pilon. He has a very solid background in creating powerful weight loss programs (mainly for women) and has had stellar success! Then you decide what is right for you.
