Anyone can lose weight on a calorie-restrictive diet. But, what about permanent weight loss? I’ll bet it’s hard to imagine what that would be like due to what you’ve been doing right? Now, that’s the different animal that I’ll get to a bit later.
For now…let’s explore what you normally do.
How many of you have tried a calorie-cutting diet, or a diet that omits entire food groups? Yep…a BIG show of hands here right?
Now, how many of these diets have you tried in the last 10 years? I know…makes you feel like crap when you add em up right?

I used to follow trendy diets. Then I’d count how many calories I burned while exercising. Sound familiar?
That’s pretty much what most women still do in the quest for a lean and toned, fit and young looking body.
That’s what I used to do too.
That was me in my youth. When I was in my late 20’s and counting every calorie, I had to hide under a hoodie. This was what all of my friends were doing too! Eating diet foods…then making ourselves sick with running or cardio and gaining even more flab.
I kept thinking that I needed to eat less and exercise more. Sound familiar? Yeah…because most women are STILL trying to out exercise what they eat.
Struggling with the right clothing was a regular and embarrassing issue. Weighing myself every single day was the norm. Only to either be excited for a loss of 2 pounds…Or, devastated that I was up a couple.
So ridiculous, and SO common!
I finally met someone that changed my life in my early 30’s. She helped me realize that in order to change my body…I had to change how I looked at food, exercise and my lifestyle!
Sounds simple right? Well. Can you imagine going from only cardio to only strength training? What about eating under 1,200 calories a day to upping my caloric intake to about 2,400!
