Thyroid disorders affect more women than men. If your thyroid is not producing enough thyroid hormone, you will be hypothyroid. This is actually becoming more common in today’s society. Our diets are loaded with foods that promote weight gain, and disease.
Hormones are responsible for most responses of the body. Whether it be mood, brain power, weight, sex drive, or energy levels…anti-inflammatory foods can help.
I follow a thyroid diet with anti-inflammatory foods in it. I have hypothyroidism and am quite active as I own a gym with my husband and do personal training for women over 40. I spend 8 hours daily in our gym demonstrating exercises and coaching women on how to take charge of their bodies…and their lives.
Eating foods that are nutrient dense, and that energize my body is crucial to ward off inflammation. I do get sore on some days from going over the exercises, and…I need a lot of energy. This is why I stick to a thyroid diet with anti-inflammatory foods.
Inflammation can be something internal that you don’t necessarily feel. However, there are many other symptoms associated with low thyroid.
You may or may not have a thyroid disorder as I do. However, inflammation comes with age, and the more you pay attention to what you put in your body…the more energy and vitality you’ll get out of it.
You may be eating foods that will sabotage your goals of feeling and looking great. You may also be suffering from low thyroid, or even be “on the low end” of stellar hormone function.
I created a program for those that want to ward off aging, either have been diagnosed with thyroid issues, or…feel they have hormones that are not working up to par. In THE THYROID FACTOR, I make energizing the body the key…and give several tips, grocery lists, guidelines and exercises to do so.
Take control of the inflammation in your body and be sure that your thyroid, your hormones and the synergistic way your body works…does so in your favor!
Sharing ways for us to live long and strong in bodies we love,
