If you have been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism as I have, then exercise is most likely the last thing on your mind. So, hypothyroidism exercises for long term weight loss might be something new to you. It might also make you ready to click off of this page, since you are most likely too tired to workout, and feel you have tried everything. So did I.
Let me start with my story. First of all, I am currently 56…oh, crap, I’ll actually be 57 on Saturday! I am currently at a great weight and quite lean. However, I didn’t used to be. Not only did I used to be flabby, I used to exercise every single day for hours. That was BEFORE I was diagnosed with my thyroid disorder. See my picture before? That is when I exercised so much I made myself sick. Then I DID get sick.
I barely ate. I did cardio two times daily for an hour each time…and got fatter, and more exhausted every day. That was when I was going to turn 30!
The hardest thing for me to do then, was to change my mind! When I changed my mind, I changed my body quickly! What I mean by that is this. I would never listen to anyone telling me to exercise less or eat more. I thought that they were crazy if they mentioned to lift weights, let alone stop doing cardio!
I mean seriously! EVERYONE was doing hours of cardio and most of them were skinny…right? Well, kind of.
Skinny is weak. Skinny is old looking and ages you. Skinny is not healthy, or sculpted, or firm or long term.
I lost my weight when I changed my mind using short workout sessions AND eating foods that support a firm, lean and sexy body…Now I am a gym owner and women’s coach. I coach women into how to lose weight and keep it off with short burst workouts AND eating superfoods that support hormones, AND thyroid health.
I have created one of the easiest plans of Hypothyroidism Exercise for Weight Loss that you don’t even need to go to a gym to do.
