Is This What is Holding You Back from Weight Loss?

If you are one of the many women that I have consulted, you all have one main thing that is holding you back from weight loss. Accountability. I am sorry to be blunt, but at the end of the day, are you happy that you did what you said you would, or are you still making up excuses? What about belief in yourself? How about just plain old “self talk” that is only words that sabotage or beat up your inner self? Since you didn’t eat right, workout, or drink anything but water are you “starting over tomorrow?”What will it take for you to look in the mirror and say, “Enough is enough, I am ready TODAY to commit!””I am powerful enough to make healthy choices!”

Mindset is everything. If you feel you are powerful, you most likely are. If you feel like you will finish a race faster than your last time, you most likely will. If you know that today, you will make a stranger smile, then that will happen. Why not do the same for your health?

Right now, say out loud…”I am in control of what I put into my mouth and into my body.” So, how did that feel when you said it? Alien or empowering? What if you were to start every morning with a mantra like that? Imagine how each day would end. I know how it would end. You would fee great about yourself. Guess what? Even if you had a glitch in a part of the day, you would pick up where you left off and get right back on your commitment to yourself. Your commitment to be in control of your food choices. Your commitment to you.

I am going to give you a script. One that most likely needs to change from “I won’t ever…..” to “I am, or I can, or I will.”

Weight loss and fat loss is something you can attain. Practice these mantra’s daily, preferably 1st thing in the morning. Put post it notes to yourself in your car and on your desk, or near your laptop. Get used to saying powerful messages to yourself. It might take some getting used to, but the body does what the mind says, so what do you have to lose? How about that layer of fat for starters?!

Copy these empowering messages, and see how your days change as your body begins to follow.

“I am in control of what I put into my mouth today”
“I am a beautiful and strong woman”
“I can say no to things that are not supporting my goals and feel great by doing so”
“Nothing tastes as good as being fit feels”
“I am lucky to have a body that works, so I will use it for strength today”
“I will not blame any factor today as to why I can’t eat healthy, I will make healthy food choices today”
“I will eat something today that I have never tried that I know my body really needs”
“I am powerful and have the ability to change my bad habits into good ones”
“I will drink only water today”

These are just a small batch of empowering words that can change a day, then change a week, and even a lifetime. Wellness, strength, fat loss and vitality IS yours for the taking.

Go ahead and grab wellness so that sickness never has a chance! See how powerful you are, and kick that negative voice to the curb every time!
