Midlife Weight Gain

Posted: February 26, 2020

Midlife throws us some hard to handle curveballs! From fatigue and memory loss to stiff joints and new lives. Midlife weight gain seems to top the list of health concerns.

I’ve coached women for 20+ years with nutrition and exercise programs that get results.

Every time someone new hires me in our gym, or contacts me online…the story is the same. The weight is piling up and the trendy diets never work.

I agree!

Midlife weight gain is NOT the same as when you lived in a dorm. When you’re young and gain weight, it’s due to too many calories.

When you’re in your 40’s, it almost always hormonal. You may wish you had the energy to workout…and the drive to cook healthy meals.
It isn’t your fault that the media has lied and made you feel like you’ve failed.

You have not. CLICK HERE TO REVERSE MIDLIFE WEIGHT GAIN AND NEVER COUNT CALORIES AGAIN!

Hormones dictate whether you’re a fat storer…or a fat burner. If you cut out too many calories and try trendy diets, you’ll most likely fail.

Of course, you may lose weight initially. However, the minute you go off of the diet…it comes back. Sometimes with even more “staying power.”

I have a saying. “You have to change your mind first, to change your body.” As soon as you think of food as what you need to be energized you’ll succeed. When you only focus on what you have to omit, you obsess.

Eating should be enjoyable. Not something that makes you feel shamed or that you need to count every calorie. Certainly not something that you hide or obsess over.

If you want to rid your body of your excess hormonal fat…you’ve got to eat and work out completely differently.

If you think you have to work out for hours to get lean. You are wrong. Furthermore, if you think you need to eat less to achieve the body you desire? Wrong again.

The women that follow my program are sexy, confident and lean. MOST OF THEM ARE OVER 40! They eat superfoods to be super women, and YOU CAN TOO!
