Plant-based diets for weight loss

Posted: July 31, 2022

The biggest issue with today’s dieting mindset is that people focus on what they are “not allowed” to eat, instead of what they are missing. One key that is missing is fiber. And, with the abundance of processed toxic foods that are loaded with chemicals and sugar, we are not able to flush those out. Plant-based diets for weight loss revolve around shedding excess weight, by eating more fiber-rich foods.

We are lacking what we need to live long and ward off disease. And, we need to focus on preventing weight gain instead of looking for quick fixes to shed the excess pounds. Think of vegetables and fruits as medicine.

These plant-based sources are beautiful, tasty, easy-to-find, and they are foods from nature that will give you benefits.

From the beautiful color and smell of a just-picked garden tomato to the bright green color of some steamed broccoli…veggies are simple – and you need them daily. What about a bowl of strawberries, blackberries, pineapple, and watermelon? That sounds delicious, right? Oh, and just so you know, the sugar in fruit will NOT make you fat.

But how much do we really need? And… what are the best options? And how do you start plant-based diets for weight loss, AND for overall anti-aging? You just need to focus on and eat what your body needs and loves, to ward off disease, to feel energized, to flush out toxins, and then you’ll lose weight effortlessly!

Vegetables are an important part of healthy eating and provide a source of many nutrients, including potassium, fiber, folate (folic acid), and vitamins A, E, and C. Something by the way that most of us are missing a lot of!

You can grow them or get them from the farmers market for the best option..you can purchase them from the grocery store and do just fine.

SUPER FOODS are my favorite foods to eat.

It actually feels mentally powerful to look down at your plate and feel great about what you are putting into your body!
According to the United States Department of Agriculture here are the guidelines for how many vegetables you need daily.
