Thyroid disease and thyroid health is a very misunderstood health issue. I know. It took me years to be diagnosed, even though my mother had been diagnosed 30 years earlier. Usually, thyroid sufferers start feeling symptoms way before they know what is wrong. From fatigue and hair loss, to weight gain and foggy brain. Thyroid health and energized living usually don’t go hand in hand.
This is where I come in.
I am a woman over 50, that was diagnosed with thyroid disease 20 years ago. I spent years battling doctors, my own hormones, and what it seemed my body wanted to do. I didn’t know that so many things I was doing, were making my thyroid function poorly.
I gained weight so I exercised more. I was tired, so I drank more coffee. I dieted and craved, starved and was miserable. Finally, I found how to take care of my thyroid health, while living an energized life.
